Fire Sprinkler Testing and Compliance
Fire Security Services specialise in sprinkler testing and sprinkler compliance. Our trained staff are dedicated to testing and surveying your sprinkler systems to ensure they comply with the relevant codes of practice including the NZ Building Code and NZ 4541 sprinkler standards.
Our compliance team will test your system as per your compliance schedule and system design, documenting all test results and findings inside our state-of-the-art software.

Diesel Pump Testing
As part of our service, and in line with your diesel pump system, we complete weekly, monthly and annual diesel pump testing.

As part of our service, and in line with your sprinkler system, we complete monthly, quarterly and annual fire sprinkler testing.
Biennial Sprinkler Testing
Biennial sprinkler testing is always completed by an independent inspector. Fire Security Services as your partner will assist the inspector on their report and give guidance on action items. Quotes will be supplied to remedy significant defects and recommendations/planning to remedy general defect items.
To operate effectively, sprinkler systems must comply with NZS 4541 in all respects at all times. To ensure that building alterations; changes in occupancy, processes or storage; or progressive deterioration of sprinkler system components do not prejudice the system a comprehensive inspection shall be carried out biennially at intervals not exceeding 28 months.
Such inspections shall be carried out by a contractor who has been independently accredited by an internationally recognized accreditation body to AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17020 as a Type A inspection body to inspect fire sprinkler systems for compliance with NZS 4541.
